What I dislike about the new Tumblr dash.
Now I know every time Twitter, Facebook or any social networking site change their layout that everyone goes a little crazy, but having used the new Tumblr dash for a few days, I now know what it is that’s bugging me about it.
I no longer have every button I need on one screen, I now have to dart between my dashboard and my own profile page. Tumblr, I don’t want to see what I’ve already posted, and I know it’s “just one click” but having to zap between those 2 pages again and again is really not a streamlined user interface. It’s annoying and time consuming.
Now I know Tumblr will probably ignore this, as well as everyone else’s cries for a change back, (after all, did Facebook or Twitter cave when people cried out about their changes? Hell no), but at least I can state what i dislike, rather than just disliking the change, and as a Brit, knowing what I;m complaining about is important!
